I am using POP Peeper with IMAP server. I would like to sync the read / unread status with the server. I have found in the FAQ this should be supported:

I did not use POP Peeper on this computer before, it should be a clean install. The message read status does not seem to be synchronized to me with my IMAP server.

I am using gmail as my IMAP server, and Thunderbird as my client.
I am using version 4.0.1, I cannot find any other 4.1. When running the PPtweaker, I do not see the option mentioned above.

Is there something I am missing? Is this really supported?

So you do not see the following option:

Note: this option was added in POP Peeper v4.1

POP Peeper v4.1 is currently in beta. To access the beta downloads:
- POP Peeper main menu: Tools / PPtweaker
- Troubleshooting page
- Enable "Include beta versions when checking for updates"
- Press OK

You can then go to Help / About; press "Check version" and you will get the notice of a new beta version.

To anyone else with the same question: I have enabled beta updates as advised. After a check a version 4.1.0.2002 was shown in red and when I pressed the Download button, a web page with a download was shown, however the version downloaded seems to be 4.0.1 again, not 4.1.

The real download link to a beta seems to be shown after clicking to the Message of the day button.

You should have seen something like this: With the relevant link highlighted in the red box, for the purpose of illustration in this screenshot.
