Crashing on Mailcheck

Post by louiseroho »

Since downloading the latest version of PopPeeper Pro,
when it does a mailcheck, the program crashes without any
notification or messages explaining why.

I use PopPeeper for gmail, yahoo and AOL.

Is there a patch?

Sorry for the problem. Can you tell if there's a specific account causing the problem? Here's a good way to test:
1) Start POP Peeper; assuming that PP doesn't immediately check for mail, press the small, green button on the bottom-right of the window. It will turn red to indicate that AutoCheck is disabled
2) Right-click on the first account in the Accounts List (left side) and select "Check Mail" -- watch the status bar to see the current activity
-> If it doesn't crash, wait for it to finish
-> If it does crash, what was the last activity that you saw (e.g. connecting, logging in, retrieving headers, etc.)
-> If PP crashed, restart PP and repeat step #1
3) Whether PP crashed or not, repeat step #2 with the next account (if PP already crashed, we want to check if the problem is specific to one account or not; otherwise, we want to find the specific account causing the crash)

Once you've isolated which account is causing the problem, I'll have more questions/instructions to figure out the details.
