After Windows 10 Upgrade Inbox On Accounts Empty

Post by NJBill »

Just completed a Windows 10 upgrade. POP shows all email accounts, scans accounts but no mail in any of the accounts inbox. Did upgrade to new POP trial just for kicks but same results.

Hi NJBill,

Thanks for reporting the problem you're experiencing. Since the issue involves PP on a Windows 10 computer, I have contacted Jeff and asked him to review your post here.

Best regards,

Assuming that "all" your accounts are Hotmail/outlook.com, see this post:

So, I log back into my computer to check for a possible fix or solution response and POP is working. No idea what the issue could have been now.
Computer was not rebooted from time I requested help, just hibernated,

Thanks as always. A VERY long time POP user and fan.

If your Pop Peeper (PP) accounts are using the "Hotmail/Outlook" Server protocol then it is likely your PP Webmail plugin was automatically updated to the current v4.0.18 by the time you had logged back into your computer which solved your problems with PP. This latest Webmail plugin update release was intended to fix an issue with Hotmail accounts that were reporting 0 messages in PP.
