Gmail Error: Try again later. (-10)

Gmail had been working fine until yesterday....and now get the following error on all my gmail accounts:
Error: Try again later. (-10)
No problem signing in with browsers Opera,Firefox Vivaldi
Any help or suggestions appreciated.......TIA

Same error here, also from Jan 26th. POP3 account type works fine.

Same for me, POP3 works fine, Gmail do not work.

Same error here. It was working fine last night and this morning three Gmail accounts are failing with error -10. Outlook.com and Yahoo.com email accounts are working fine.

Thanks to everyone for reporting on the Gmail issue(s) you're experiencing.
Welcome to the PP Forums, MasterAdkins.
For anyone else having a similar Gmail problem, please be sure to include the text of the error message you receive (like what douglas9 has in his post # 1 above). Also, confirm if you are able to log-in to the affected Gmail account on-line without any problems.
This will help us narrow down the issue(s) and determine a resolution.
I have contacted Jeff and asked him to look into this problem. As soon as we have additional information on the issue and a resolution, it will be posted here.

Yep same for me too 7 out of 15 not working also computer very sluggish....

I confirm:
- Can login online perfectly (Gmail)
- Error Try again latter (-10)
- Pop3 working without problems

WebMail v4.0.26
The GMail issue has been fixed and the update is available. You can either wait for POP Peeper to automatically update (usually within 24 hours) or you can force POP Peeper to manually update by performing the following easy steps:
1) From POP Peeper's main menu, select Help / About
2) Make sure that both of the following checkboxes are enabled:
- Automatically check for updates
- Auto-update WebMail plugin
3) Press the "Check Version" button
- You should see that your "Current" WebMail version updates to 4.0.26
After the WebMail plugin is updated, I recommend logging into each of your GMail accounts manually (using your webbrowser) and that you perform a full login -- that is, if you are automatically logged in, sign out and then sign back in. Then, test your GMail accounts in POP Peeper to make sure that they're working.
In order to avoid issues with GMail changes, I recommend changing your account to use IMAP instead of WebMail. Simply edit each of your GMail accounts and change the "Server Type" from "GMail" to "IMAP" and POP Peeper will make other necessary changes. Note that in certain cases, some people cannot use IMAP because of firewall restrictions, but this is not very common. Also, you will likely need to enable "less secure apps" on each of your GMail accounts using this link:

For me it's working but not using IMAP as server type, still with Gmail, the only one working right. No need to enable "less secure apps" anyway

With WebMail 4.0.26, my account using Gmail server can be logged in, but the one using IMAP 4.0.1.0 cannot. I had disabled Windows 10 firewall and tried again, but no luck.

works but once a month or thereabout i get the dreaded message "someone has your password" and it all stems from Pop Peeper signing in.

looks like i have lost three email account because of this issue, getting really fed up with it all now. i've had to change the passwords so many different time i am now starting to lose track of it all. I am gonna look for an alternative way of checking my muliple email accounts because this issue now has resulted in me losing at least 5 accounts. i'm just about fed up of it now

and gmail seemed to have adjusted their forgot email details required, this is a nightmare

managed to get arund the above by clearing my cookies. Because i have had to manually go into account using the same browser i think Gmail gets it's little brain in a muddle and start asking questions that cnnot possible be answered. however by clearing my cookies it has returned to asking me for my recovery email addresses and i've been able to get into one of the three accounts i thought i had lost. phew
here's hoping i get get the other two back

What error do you get with IMAP? Make sure that you've enabled "less secure apps" as mentioned above. Or see this FAQ for another option:
