I have an unread, junk email 'stuck' in Pop Peeper inbox

I have an unread, junk email stuck in Pop Peeper inbox. It is obvious on the screen as it shows 1 received, but I don't know how to access and clear it out. It is also causing graphic signals for action awaiting. Can you help me please?
