restore to "Program Folder"?

Post by gordon »

Hi,
I am doing a backup from laptop1 and a restore on laptop2.
When I do the restore, I get a popup:
Capture.JPG
If I select C:\Program Files (x86)\POP Peeper\
it will update *.exe *.dll files ??

Is that what is going on?
I expected backup/restore to only do email/passwords/options ....
not executables.
Maybe a tooltip with definition of Program Folder?

Yes, it would result in overwriting the exe and dll files. When you perform the backup, one of the options is to "Backup Program folder." The idea behind this option is to make it easier to transfer POP Peeper to another computer that doesn't already have PP installed. If you're simply doing a backup for peace of mind, then you may not want to backup the Program Folder.
