Hotmail times out

My husband and I both have individual Hotmail email accounts. Pardon me, I guess it's no longer Hotmail but Outlook(which I really detest!). When checking the accounts with PopPeeper one or both of them always times out causing an error. Is there any way to stop this behavior?

Sorry to hear of the issue you're having.
In the interim, while awaiting further review of your topic by other members of The PP Team, please post back with the info requested below, which will help us more readily ascertain the problem/resolution:

1. Are you able to log-in to the accounts via your browser without any issues?

2. Please confirm which version of POP Peeper you are currently using, and that all plugins are updated?

3. How are you accessing the affected Outlook accounts?
(i.e. Hotmail/Outlook, IMAP, POP3)

[TO CHECK: Open PP. Right-click on the account(s) in the Account List. Click on "EDIT ACCOUNT" in the menu options shown. On the next page displayed, under the [GENERAL] tab, look at what is shown in the box beside, "Server type"].

4. If you are accessing the Outlook accounts using Hotmail/Outlook (i.e. Webmail), how often is POP Peeper performing mail checks?

5. You indicated the accounts are always "timing-out". Are those accounts ever able to successfully perform a mail check without any errors?
