Reporting spam, blacklist, Bayes

Post by lian »

Hello,
I just bought Poppeeper Pro to use the antispam utility but I’m a little confused. When I’m reporting a spam to Spamcop, the message is automatically deleted. But is the spam listed in blacklist and Bayes ?

It is marked as junk (bayes). To confirm this, if you look at the message list (behind the report-spam window, most likely), you should see the red thumbs-down icon appear in the "junk evaluation" column (the header is a flag icon) for that message.

As to whether it is blacklisted depends on a certain setting which is not enabled by default. To enable it:
main menu: Tools / AntiJunk -> Settings
On either the "Basic" or the "Blacklist" page (only one is visible, depending on "Advanced settings"):
- Blacklist email address when I mark message as junk
