I have several hotmail accounts (7). One of the accounts recently started to ignore the account when checking for mail. ie; no errors or no "0" for no email.
All the other accounts seem to work Ok. I went into the hotmail account directly via Hotmail.com and no problem with logging in.
I deleted the acct from PP and re added it but still ignores it when Check Mail.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks
Norm

Re: Check Mail ignoring account
problem solved...
changed out from IMAP to Hotmail which doesn't require OAUTH2.

Re: Check Mail ignoring account
Could you try going back to IMAP/OAuth2 and see if the problem still exists? It's possible that the switch fixed whatever the problem is, but if it's still a problem I'd like to investigate.
An alternative to editing your old account would be to create a temporary account with IMAP. When you're asked for the password, press the 'oauth2' button and if it tells you that it already exists (which I think is likely), then be sure to CANCEL the prompt (do not delete your existing oauth2 credentials). Test the account and see what happens and let me know.
