Address Book Bug: Unable to edit/delete 1 specific address

Hi,
I have an email in my address book that, for some reason, I cannot seem to delete (nor edit). I have tried to edit and/or delete 4-5 other addresses without issue. The problem appears to apply to only the one (federal government) email address hmmmm now if I were paranoid...
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello viviand,
Sorry to hear of the issue you're having. While awaiting further review of your topic by other members of the Esumsoft Team, please post back with the following info:
1. Which version of POP Peeper are you using?
2. When you try to delete/edit that one email address in your Address Book, what happens? (e.g. do you see a dialog box displayed on your screen & if so, what does it say).
The more details you can provide will help us more quickly determine the problem & resolution.
Thank you and best regards,

iirc, this issue may have originated before PP updated the addressbook a few versions ago and occurs because of a stray quote.
So try this:
0) first, I recommend backing up your current address book, just in case this doesn't work:
a) Find the folder where it's saved: main menu -- Tools / Options / Storage
b) refer to the "Data path" and open that in Windows Explorer
c) make a copy of addrbook.inx
-> Keep this window open because you can use it again in step #5 below
1) Open your address book in POP Peeper
1b) Note the number of entries displayed on the bottom-left (so that you can later compare if entries were ex/im-ported correctly)
2) From the addrbook's menu, select File / Export
3) Export to a .csv file, e.g. pp-addrbook.csv
4) Exit POP Peeper
5) Delete the addrbook.inx file (see step #0 instructions)
6) Edit the pp-addrbook.csv file (from step #3) using a text editor
7) Find and delete the entry that you want to remove
8) Restart POP Peeper
9) Open your addrbook
10) Use File / Import and import the .csv file that you've edited
11) Compare the number of entries against 1b; if all went well, it should now be 1 less than it was before

Pete: apologies for not replying to your response before Jeff posted his. For the record, I use the latest 4.3.0.0 version.
Jeff: This did the trick.
As always, great service!
