sandboxie error: file cannot be recovered ... name too long

I am getting the following error from sandboxie:
>File cannot be recovered because the name of the destination folder
>is too long. Select some other destination folder.

The error happens when
1. deleting a letter with long subject inside sandboxie
2. exiting sandboxie
3. "recover to same folder".

I see that windows limits path file name to 260 chars :-(

The name of the file is:
20170503102232_The Best Multi-Platform Compiler is this Month's Project of the Month -- Get 2TB of Supremely Secured Cloud Storage With Deggo_7eac9ce480fea4f14f7866225473af49.eml
The name is 179 chars long.

I would like no error.

I'm not familiar with sandboxie, so what exactly does this do:
3. "recover to same folder".

ie. does it move files from one folder to another?

What's the full length of the original path and what's the length of the folder it's being moved to?

yes, "recover to same folder" moves a file from one folder to another.

C:\Users\E642\AppData\Roaming\POP Peeper\AAAYahoogordonwilsoo59xMAP\Deleted
75 chars

Here is an example showing the problem:
1. compose a letter, mailed back to you, with this subject:
this subject is exactly 250 charactors long this is a really long subject to demonstrate the 260 charactor path file name windows limit limit limit limit limit limit limit limit limit limit limit limit this is the end of the subject end of subject
2. mail it, retrieve it in PP
3. delete it
4. go to deleted box and copy it to delete/coupons
I get an error of "destination path too long"
I think I could find more examples.

I see that the subject is used for the file name.
And the subject is truncated to 127 chars when used for the file name.
The prefix is 15 chars, the suffix is 37 chars.
The total is 181 chars, leaving 79 chars for path name.

I have created exceptions for sandboxie which seems to have solved my original problem :-)

You didn't specify the sizes for both the destination and source folder but, basically, if the destination folder is longer than the source folder, then there's a chance you'll get this error. As you've seen, PP will truncate the length of the file so that it fits in the original folder, but if you move it, that's out of PP's control.

The same problem would occur if you create a filename with 250 characters in C:\ and then tried to move that file to the folder:
C:\This_Folder_Is_Longer_And_The_Combined_Size_Will_Exceed_The_Max_Characters_Allowed\
