No problems!

Post by Bill_Texas »

Just to jazz things up I thought I would sign on not to post a problem or whine, but to post that things are going fantastically! Normally I only peek my head in when there's an issue. But I don't have any now, and very very rarely do, and usually they're just 101 Bad User Error.

What a great, useful, reliable, well supported product. I can't express how much time it adds to my life, cancelling out the time waste using Microsoft products. Just keep doing what you're doing!

Jeff's thoughts when going to bed at night: "I helped people get things done today. I made the world a better place." That's a nice place to be, and a goal for me, and wish it to be a goal for everyone. It sure beats the Microsoft programmer/designer, who goes to bed thinking: "Man, we had a bichin party/Man, I wonder how long until I get High Score Again/Man, I love 5 O'Clock every day when I sprint out of work to get on my bike/Man, I can't stand when users criticize us or ask questions or try to make us fix things that we already know are broken/Man, that was some righteous dope we burned tonight (etc.)" :)

/We're not worthy icon/ :D
This is a great product. A great product. =D>

Hi Bill_Texas,

On behalf of myself and other members of The Esumsoft Team, I would like to thank you for your most kind and appreciative comments about the POP Peeper program, as well as, how it has benefited you over the years!

We're always open to receiving constructive suggestions/comments about both the POP Peeper and Aeris Calendar programs. Such feedback from users/Forum members is particularly helpful to Jeff in his ongoing development & improvement efforts of each respective program!
* (BTW...I got a nice laugh from your *comparison* between the "bedtime thoughts" of Jeff versus a MS staffer)!

Thank you again for the thoughtful & appreciative comments in your topic post, as well as, being a long-tenured POP Peeper user and valued Forum member! =D>

Cheers!

FYI I will quickly note that I didn't get an email notifying me of your reply.

- It is a "watched topic" so I interpret that I am "subscribed" -- http://www.esumsoft.com/Forums/ucp.php? ... subscribed
- Everything's checked in "Edit notification options" -- http://www.esumsoft.com/Forums/ucp.php? ... on_options
- Everything's yes on "Edit posting defaults" -- http://www.esumsoft.com/Forums/ucp.php? ... &mode=post
- Email address is correct in "Edit account setting" -- http://www.esumsoft.com/Forums/ucp.php? ... eg_details

- When I post "Notify me when a reply is posted" is (always is) already checked and I don't change it.

It does show up in "Manage notifications" -- http://www.esumsoft.com/Forums/ucp.php? ... ation_list
but in case it was supposed to email me, it didn't.
This is a great product. A great product. =D>

User Error strikes again - the notification was in the junk folder. I get like one false positive per year, and you were this year's "winner" :)

Sorry for not doing the obvious before posting.

Bill -- Really appreciate the kind words :D I'm currently out of town and I seriously considered stopping reading any further issues to go out on a high, but considering I've got a backlog, I'll have to keep going :)

I hope you're OK down there in Texas.
