Hello Guy's,

I see in the Pop Peeper "About" window ,this version info displayed :

Module Current Latest
Pop Peeper 4.4.2.0 4.4.0.0
IMAP 4.4.2.0 4.4.0.0
SendMail 4.4.2.0 4.4.0.0

It is a minor issue, but how can the current version of these modules be higher then the latest ?

Regards, Jan

It appears you have posted the following:

Code: Select all

Module Current Latest
Pop Peeper 4.4.2.0 4.4.0.0
IMAP 4.4.2.0 4.4.0.0
SendMail 4.4.2.0 4.4.0.0
It is my understanding that this will occur when a "silent" update is released, to that point PPv4.4.1 was to my knowledge a "silent" release discussed in this topic (not sure about the current release however).

I am sure Jeff will provide a more detailed explanation than I....

The changes in the .1 and .2 updates were for very specific cases that shouldn't have had much global impact and so I didn't want to force the majority of users to update to something that they weren't affected by.

However, this is something that I would like to address in a future version. That is: a way so that POP Peeper does acknowledge that there's a new version but also represents it as an optional update.

Thanks for the reply.
I agree it's more a cosmetical error, but I just wondered.
