Hello, some basic messages I write in PopP are rejected by my provider since 4.5. The same message are accepted if I send it via Postbox.
Example:

Code: Select all

This is the mail system at host smtp3-g21.free.fr.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster.

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.

I'll need you to email me (support at esumsoft dot com) so that I can get the full logs from you. But I have a couple of questions first, so please answer these in your email:

1) In this sample, I take it that you're sending a test message to yourself -- are the "from" email address and "to" email address identical?

2) Do you have problems sending *all* emails from this account? ie. can you send the same email address to a different email account (*not* a @free.fr address)?

3) Since the error text implies this, I have to ask -- are you absolutely sure that the recipient(s) email address is correct? No typos?

I made some tests after reading your message and everything worked correctly. It may be a problem relative to the hoster. If the problem shows again, I will send you a message. For the moment, let’s say it’s solved.

OK, when I type my email address in PopP, it’s a wrong one that shows first "li-an@free.fr" instead of the same with "point". So I must have made a mistake one time and the rejected message comes from this mistape. But how to delete bad emails adresses in PopP. I did not see this option?

From the Main window menu by going to "Send Mail" > "Address book..." or from the View Message window menu going to "Tools" > "Address book..." or by clicking the "Addresses" button if you have the button in either window you can then select and delete email addresses in your address book.
