99% people save into documents anyway,
I think it's perspective. I don't save anything into the documents folder and so I would say that 99% of the people don't either
I would also say that my twist on the feature would be significantly more convenient to people like me than saving the other ("half", let's say) from clicking one more button. I have to click a whole lotta times to save the file where I want it, but with an MRU, that would be cut down significantly.
Lets not make it too complicated.
Well, it's easy to say that when it doesn't affect you. But you need a more compelling argument when the developer is in the other 1%
browsers, where the default location is set
Browsers have download managers so even if you don't know where the browser is saving it, you can still access it. That would not be the case with a simple "save" button in PP and is the situation I'd like to avoid.
Imagine the case where a person decided to save a certain file to a different folder; the next time they open the "save attachment" folder, they've forgotten about that, hit "save" and then wonder where the file went. As the developer, I'm the one that has to foresee these kinds of issues and prevent them from happening in the first place, because if I don't, I'm also the one that will have to spend time doing tech support when someone thinks that PP hasn't saved their attachment. And I *much* prefer doing development over tech support.
But let's see if anybody else has any input.
