Hi,
Regarding "SPAM" is there a way to alter the 'Blacklist'?
My problem, I am receiving a lot of 'Spam' from a domain that ends in "MONSTER",
i.e. the address ends @socco.monster, or occos.monster etc 'monster' being the constant.
I know about the Junk learning but would it not be easier to be able to adjust the 'Blacklist' to accept *@*.monster?
If so - please explain how I can achieve this.
Open to all and any advice offered.
Many thanks

Re: Spam: Is there a way to alter
The post spc3rd linked to indicates that it *is* possible, but not necessarily how to do it; so:
1) From POP Peeper's main menu, select Tools / AntiJunk -> Main interface
2) Select "Black List" on the left
3) Press the "Add" button on the toolbar
4) The format that you suggested is the correct one, so you'd add: *@*.monster
5) The weight / comment fields are optional
6) Press OK; and press OK again to save
Before you press OK the 2nd time, you can also use the "test" to make sure you get expected results.
e.g. you can just specify an email address in the test field and if you typed:
test@occos.monster
the bottom will indicate "score: 1" which indicates a match
but if you typed
test@monster.com
the bottom will indicate "score: 0" which indicates it did not match (because a '.' is required immediately before monster)

Re: Spam: Is there a way to alter
Hi,
Many thanks for the assistance and the method to sort it out.
I would not have found that on my own, I have a tendency to break things when investigating
I have followed your instructions to the letter and Bingo - no more spam from "monster".
I cannot thank you enough.
Cheers
