At bottom of PP window shows "sending message(s).
How to stop the process?

Click on the "Stop" button (main PP window) to stop the "Send": If you want to actually stop the PP process from running then right-click on the PP icon in the system tray to get context menu (right-bottom portion of your desktop) and select "Exit".

You're absolutely correct, you would need to delete the respective messages in your Outbox (once the "Send" was stopped at the time) - otherwise PP will continue to attempt to send the message(s) in your Outbox later on again at some point. This is perhaps what you were actually asking -- that is specifically the "Send process" that continued to occur (from the Outbox) repeatedly as opposed to stopping the (current) message Send at the time (which is what I was referring to).
