Click on the "Stop" button (main PP window) to stop the "Send":

If you want to actually stop the PP process from running then right-click on the PP icon in the system tray to get context menu (right-bottom portion of your desktop) and select "Exit".

Thank you hime3 for reporting back to us,

You're absolutely correct, you would need to delete the respective messages in your Outbox (once the "Send" was stopped at the time) - otherwise PP will continue to attempt to send the message(s) in your Outbox later on again at some point. This is perhaps what you were actually asking -- that is specifically the "Send process" that continued to occur (from the Outbox) repeatedly as opposed to stopping the (current) message Send at the time (which is what I was referring to).
