Clarifying the Feature Comparison

Post by lwc »

https://www.esumsoft.com/products/pop-p ... comparison doesn't mention various v5 features such as IMAP upload. Can you add them or at least it?

Also, Auto Update and Access remote folders are marked as both Pro and Plus.
How do you define Plus' Auto Update? Is it independent of Pro's Auto Update?
What happens if you have Pro and then try to install Access remote folders through Pack or vice versa? Does it even exist as a standalone plugin?

Thanks for the feedback :D
There are numerous new features included in PRO - the comparison table is intended to touch upon the more important differences.
As to the two features you have referenced:
1) The "Auto Update" is an independent feature of either PRO or the Plus Pack (both have this functionality - that is PRO will Auto Update and/or the Plus Pack will as well w/out PRO).
2) The "Access remote folders" feature is an additional function of either PRO or the Plus Pack. It is not a standalone plugin but rather additional feature for both PRO and Plus Pack (either provide this function) as compared to the Free PP.

Does that help (embedded links provided for additional clarity)? :D

"Upload" is mashed with "move messages" if you click on the link. But there was space in the table to give upload a mention, so it's been updated.

"Move and upload messages" is what I wanted to see, thanks!
Maybe it should be called "Move and upload IMAP messages" though, no?
Likewise "Access remote IMAP folders" instead of "Access remote folders".

Thanks for the additional feedback. I'd say "IMAP" is sort of understood since this is after all the protocol that provides this functionality. That said, perhaps Jeff will consider these suggestions....
