I started seeing this error today. Sometimes it works. Intermittent it seems.

I've not had any recent Yahoo errors myself. I'd probably chalk it up as a temporary server issue and hope that it resolves soon.

btw, it does look like there were some problems with Yahoo email at about the time that you reported a problem and has gotten a little more normal now, so hopefully it is better now:
