The red "x" mark for delete has disappeared and I can't seem to delete anything.

Are you speaking of the red "X" that will sometimes display for a message in the POP Peeper Inbox?

Are you certain that the same message that had the red "X" still remains in the POP Peeper inbox (but without the red "X")?

What method are you using to "Delete" the message (Menu, button, right-click etc)?

Are you still using POP Peeper version 5.2.2.0 on Windows 7 (x64) (as referenced in forum)?

As mjs indicated, the "red-X" does not represent messages marked for deletion, a blue trashcan does. If the appropriate icon is not displayed when you mark as delete, it should show up in the "Misc status" column ('!'). If you've removed that column, you can add it back by selecting
main menu: Messages / Edit columns
