Crashes when attempting to view message

In Windows 7, pressing "Enter" to view a message brings up a blank window and the program crashes. This bug started spontaneously in my previous version and now continues with version 5.4.1. It happens every time. In all other respects the program works correctly.

Anyone else having this problem?

Nope (unable to reproduce your issue), I do not have this problem (on Windows 7) - tested more than a dozen messages, all opened w/out any issues by pressing "Enter" (to view message) for the message selected in the Inbox. IF this occurs on all messages then off-hand it would appear that you may have a corrupted (message) data base issue (but - before we get to that, please post back the answers to the questions listed below).

A few Questions to start out with (in regards to using other methods to view messages):
1) Does doing a right-click and selecting (clicking on) "View message..." from the context menu open the selected message for you?

2) Does the "View message" button successfully open (selected) messages for you?

3) When was the last time you rebooted your computer? -- if not recently, try this in the remote case there may be some kind of persistent glitch/conflict issue (we would like to remove all other possible causes prior to taking the corrupted file approach).

4) When you initially installed POP Peeper, did you originally download the program from the (official) POP Peeper website?
