PP keeps telling me that I am running an old version of Notification Skin (v5.0.0.0) and that v5.2.0.0 is available. So I click "Download...", it again tells me that Skin Notifier can be updated from v5.0 -> v5.2, so I click Website...

Then from the Download page I click the YES link on the Notification Skin row, it takes me to the Plugins page. I download the ZIP version of Skin Notifier (which the page says is v5.2). But the NotifySkin.dll in that ZIP is still v5.0.0, with the same date as the one I already have (10/16/2020 @11:00:10), and the checksum is identical to the one I already have installed.

Just to be certain, I extract that DLL into the Plugins folder (overwriting my existing one) and restart PP. Nothing has changed - it still tells me I'm running v5.0.0.0 and that 5.2.0.0 is available. Is it possible that only the .exe version of Skin Notifier (which I do not want to run) is updated?

Weird....

You wouldn't have had luck with the exe installer either, as it was also v5.0. However, the auto-update would have installed v5.2.

It took me a little while to figure out what was wrong because there was a redirect that was supposed to address this but it didn't seem to be working. Turns out the redirect was commented out

Should be good now.
