Gmail invites has been so plentiful lately that spoolers have sprung up. Gmail account holders donate their invites to spooler websites. Spoolers automatically give out an invite if you provide an email address. So the invite a friend process is bypassed.
Isnoop.net has been the most popular of these spoolers. The website has give out over 1.2 million invites and still had 1 million invites available. Now Google have closed down isnoop. On the website, "I have gotten the word from Gmail's Product Manager that my service is no longer tolerable."
In the US, most users who wants a Gmail account have gotten one. But internationally, many users still are looking for Gmail accounts. So we go back to one to one invite and accept process. Gmail invite, anyone?
