Re: SSL cert renewed, POP Peeper still getting old one
And *POOF* like magic, all of my email clients suddenly and simultaneously began working again! Why, it's as if the web host *DID* screw something up, even though they blamed me and made me waste hours of my time chasing my tail. Not annoying at all, nope. Thanks for the help! I'd still like to know...

Re: SSL cert renewed, POP Peeper still getting old one
Yes I have done both--restarted POP Peeper and rebooted.
I don't think this is a POP Peeper issue; that's why I put it in the generic "Email" forum. I'm seeing the same issue on Android and iPhone. My suspicion is that the host has messed something up, but I don't know what.

Re: SSL cert renewed, POP Peeper still getting old one
In PPtweaker, I always had "SSL certificate validation" and "Hostname matching" enabled, with no exceptions defined. This worked fine until my host's SSL certificate expired. Now, if I add the host name as an exception (or of course if I disable "SSL certificate validation&q...

SSL cert renewed, POP Peeper still getting old one
I own my own domain, mainly for the email service. My irresponsible web host allowed the SSL certificate on the shared domain to expire the other day, breaking just about everything, including web-based email and IMAP. They renewed the certificate later that day, and since then I've been able to acc...

Re: Registering POP Peeper as mailto: default
I've probably seen that before. If so, I totally forgot. I apologize. I'm an asshole.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Registering POP Peeper as mailto: default
Is it possible to register POP Peeper as the default for mailto: URLs under Windows 10? POP Peeper does not appear as an option in Windows 10's "Default apps", so presumably I need to edit the registry to accomplish this. I've actually started down that road but have not yet rebooted to se...

Will POP Peeper ever have a preview pane?
I tried every email client under the sun for my private domain email, and settled on using a combination of webmail and POP Peeper. I only wish POP Peeper had a preview pane, so it wasn't necessary to open each message in its own window.
Will this ever be added? Just a respectful question.

Re: Processing Data...
I found the problem. I had preceded the "Account name" with non-breaking spaces (Alt + Num 0160), in order to make them look indented (so they appear more neatly as sub-folders of the main account). Using regular spaces caused "___" to be substituted in place of the spaces (which...

Upon checking just now, none of the applicable data.db files have been modified since 10/2 - 10/4 (~three weeks ago).

For "Ini location", I have: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\POP Peeper\poppeeper.ini For "Data path", I have: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\POP Peeper Of course, I am substituting "[username]" for my Windows user name, since I'd rather not post it here. For &q...

Re: Processing Data...
Yes, I use a VPN, but my download speeds are quite good. It's not like not using the VPN would make the 6,000 messages in my Sent folder download instantly. I think the issue is whether or not PP is designed to cache messages locally or not. If not, and this is just its design, then fine. I just wan...

I'm using POP Peeper Pro v5.0.0.0 on Win10 Pro 2004 x64. I have separate accounts set up for each of the IMAP folders I want to be able to view with POP Peeper. Each time POP Peeper starts, it has to download each message anew. This takes a long time and seems pretty crazy to me, to be honest. Some ...
