Re: Possible with several RSS feeds in one single RSS "account"
This will be addressed in v5.4.7 -- for the sake of Smart HTML, messages from an RSS feed will be considered whitelisted. I think that, for now, you'll still be able to (attempt to) whitelist it, as sometimes it's better to at least provide feedback rather than disable it and left wondering why it c...

Re: Possible with several RSS feeds in one single RSS "account"
To be honest, until you had specifically asked that, I had completely forgotten that it was possible, and I still had to look in the code to make sure it was possible and the correct format. In hindsight, I'm not even sure why I added that in the first place. The good news is, now that it's been bro...

Re: Possible with several RSS feeds in one single RSS "account"
In fact, you can -- just separate the URLs with a space. ... #-o The fact that you mentioned 10 feeds made me wonder if there's some kind of limitation to the number of characters, since that field was only intended to hold a single server... and there is. Things go bad if you enter a server of long...

Re: Recent Update Causing Problems With OAuth2
The only reason that's suggested to run as Admin is if you're using an outdated OS (e.g. Win7). If you *are* using Win7, then you should probably use the password method instead of Oauth2 anyway. While I haven't heard of this problem with other win7 users, it's a possibility. The last PP update was ...

Re: Showing UNread when everything is read
It may help for you to know why the messages were hidden in the first place, in case it happens again there's probably an easier way then to toggle display filters. As I mentioned, italics means the message was hidden; but if, for example, the message had a red background, it means the message was e...

Re: Unhide Passwords
There are 3rd party utilities that can show these passwords. For various reasons, that's all I'm going to say; you'll have to find them on your own. Disclaimer: I mention such utilities not because acknowledging the existence of them is a security risk, but because not knowing about them is a securi...

Re: Showing UNread when everything is read
Here are a couple suggestions: 1) Under the main 'Messages' menu, disable "Enable display filters" -- this will show all messages in the list, regardless of whether they're hidden, junk, etc. See if you can find the messages now (note: messages in italics means they were marked as hidden)....

Re: outlook not authorizing
Yes, I recommend using password authentication instead of Oauth2 for Outlook. Outlook has had so many issues with Oauth2 that v5.4.6 will no longer recommend using Oauth2 for Outlook. I dread the day when Outlook forces Oauth2 like gmail and yahoo do, but as I've said in the past, I think there's a ...

Re: POP Peeper Terminates with C++ Library Error
Do you put your computer to sleep and have you noticed if it's more likely to occur after resuming from sleep? (this may not be relevant, just a theory) Also, as an experiment, edit any IMAP accounts you have and disable the "Idle/push" feature ("general", bottom-right). Whether ...

Re: Voice Notifier: Custom Date Format
That's what I figured. Glad to have found the bug as a result of it, though :) Use the "notification" page in voice notifier's settings to customize the Notification. There are some preset syntaxes you can select from the drop-down, or set your own; but like I said, there's not quite as ma...

Re: Voice Notifier: Custom Date Format
Well, the only thing you're doing wrong is using something buried in the documentation that apparently no one else uses ;) There's definitely a bug (2 actually), but before I go into that -- Are you sure this is what you think it is? You mention "custom voice announcement" but that's not w...

Re: PP crashing: has my Gmail account finally gotten too big?
Is it possible that the crash occurred at the same message? You gave estimates of 10K and 8950 which are close, so perhaps there's a particular message causing the problem (messages can get randomly corrupted on the server). After you move the messages to another folder, if you do have Pro/Plus Pack...

Re: PP crashing: has my Gmail account finally gotten too big?
There shouldn't be a problem with 17K messages. I have 15K in one account (admittedly it's just an archive folder that's not enabled and only checked on-demand) and 37K total. Probably not an issue, but make sure that the data folder isn't low on free space. Next: 1) Go to main menu: Tools / Options...

hm. I'm not sure how they would be related. Did you ever see if simply opening POP Peeper (or a message) would cause the Firefox freeze or was it strictly when you received a new email notification? Also, I assume that you made sure your video drivers were up to date? Out of curiosity, do you know w...

Ok, that's good and potentially means that the problem/fix I've seen could be related. Please email me (support at esumsoft dot com) and I will provide you the fix to test once it's available.

I use Firefox as my primary browser and I've never seen this before (nor heard this to the best of my recollection). What notification(s) are you using in POP Peeper? Do you have any extensions in Firefox that might interfere?
P.S. sorry for the late reply.

I haven't heard any other issues; and I personally used this SSL for about a week before releasing it. What method did you use to install this version? (ie. auto-update, exe installer, zip installer...) You might want to try re-installing POP Peeper (which should re-download the SSL files, if you us...

Re: Aeris Calendar v3
Aeris Calendar v3 has been put on the back burner. There have been a lot of changes made since Aeris v2, but it's also in a state of flux -- one of the things I was doing was adding support for different weather providers and this became a bit of a slog. "One of these days" is the best I c...

Re: Cannot send messages again out of Hotmail acct.
You should use password method as Oauth2 for Hotmail/SMTP is a known problem. If you're using 2-step authentication, make sure you're using an app-specific password for POP Peeper. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/using-app-passwords-with-apps-that-don-t-support-two-step-verificat...

I assume you know the gotchas with Gmail and POP3 -- That Gmail defaults to deleting messages retrieved by POP3?
