I have updated the Free-MSP sites list:
http://www.poppeeper.com/Articles/mspchart.php
Here are the changes of note:
Storage/Service changes
- Gawab has gone back to a gold/silver package and platinum is now fee-based
- GMail continues to increase its storage space and is currently at 2653+ megs
- Walla has increased storage to 3 gigs
- Cashette has increased storage to 3 gigs
- SpyMac removed POP3 access
Added to list
- Inbox.com
Removed from list
- Eumx is becoming a fee-only site. You can apparently sign up for the next couple of months for a free account.
- PostMark.net had a hardware failure and has ceased operation.
If you have any suggestions for additional sites, let me know. The list favors sites offering POP3/IMAP/SMTP, but other sites offering exceptional service (including exceptionally bad service, to get the word out) are also considered.
Updated MSP Sites
Love the freudian slip
I always wonder about these companies who name their product to other things, like how people HotPop sounds like it has something to do with Hotmail, or how POP Peeper checks more than just POP...
I got your email, thanks. I'm still playing catchup from taking a 3 day no-PP weekend, and will add PumaPost soon... actually, probably tomorrow if they still plan on going live then?
