Hi,
I really like pp and have purchased the plus pack which makes life so much more enjoyable.
The only feature I would use for pp Pro would be 'Move messages'.
Can you let me know - if in the pro version, if you move messages to a folder on the local drive, what file format would they be and are they easily accessed by other programs such as notepad/wordpad/word etc if needed. I don't have any other email proggy installed on my computer as pp is the dog's blx.
The feature in Pro that you're referring to does not move messages to your local drive; it moves messages in your IMAP account to another folder on the same IMAP account. So, for example, you could create a new folder called "Old" and move all/some of your messages out of your inbox into the "Old" folder. Any IMAP client, including POP Peeper can access that folder, and would also be accessible when using your webbrowser to access your mail account.
Also, any messages that POP Peeper saves to your *local* drive (such as the "Archive" feature) are saved in the standard .eml format, which most email clients can open. It's not a format that's intended to be viewed with a text editor, though.
