I had to reinstall PP. On new unread messages, I have lost the ability to have them in bold before. It does show the envelope but font stays the same as read message>
Is there a way to change it back?
thanks

Re: new message font
Are you saying that you have messages in the PP inbox that are either marked "new" or marked "unread" like the ones circled in this screen-shot:
Or is it just that messages that have the second circled icon (closed envelope) are not bold?
Try this, since this has just occurred since you installed POP Peeper:
1) Select all the messages in the main POP Peeper interface that are not doing what is expected (as you have described, unread envelopes are not in bold), you can select entire contiguous groups of messages by holding down the shift key and select the starting and ending points or you can select non-contiguous messages by holding down the ctrl key and selecting each message individually.
2) Right-click on any one of these selected messages.
3) From the right-click context menu that pops up Select "Remove from list".
4) Do a Mail Check, click on the "Check Mail" button probably on far upper-right of tool bar (to repopulate the inbox with those removed messages).
Are the messages now as you expect them to be (based on the envelope icon in PP)?
and the message information listed in the inbox (Account, Sender, Subject etc) for those message is not in bold?Or is it just that messages that have the second circled icon (closed envelope) are not bold?

Re: new message font
I;m sorry but I failed to mention it's the font that is no longer bold on an unread message as it was before; not the envelope
Re: new message font
I understand, since you installed PP again the "unread" message(s) (that have a closed envelope icon) are not listed as bold in the PP inbox (like they had been before). I'm assuming these are messages retrieved since you installed, is this correct? So it's not all "unread" messages in the entire inbox that are not bold.
If that's the case then please try the steps I suggested above for those "unread" messages and please report back your results as far as if these messages then look like they should again. Thanks
To clarify, hold down the crtl key and while holding it down then click on (select) each one of these messages that have the closed envelope but do not have the bold text in the PP inbox and then right-click any one of those messages selected and select "Remove from list" from the menu you see. Then either wait for the next Mail Check or do a manual "Check Mail" to see if this fixes the problem for these unread messages.

Re: new message font
Some fonts don't support bold -- and I know this is particularly true under WINE. Are you using wine?
