Problem with Hotmail/Outlook

I have windows 7 64-bit and pop peeper 4.5.0.0 and then I click on "check mail" it stops and the processor are working hard. The Pop Peeper get stuck on "Retrieving Messages". The problem is with server type: Hotmail/Outlook. Then I change to POP3 and IMAP everything works as it should. And Gmail works perfectly also!

I am unable to confirm any problem with "Webmail" regarding Hotmail myself (PP 4.5 on Windows 7).... But that said, IMAP is the recommended protocol to use anyway. Glad to hear you have resolved your issue.

No problem here either (Win10 x64).

There's numbers associated with "retrieving messages (current / total)" -- do you remember if the "current" was increasing or was it stuck on a particular message?

Then I try to get mail with server type: Hotmail/Outlook it gets stuck on 1023 messages (I attach a pic). I think its stuck on the same number.
I tried to delete the data.db file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\POP Peeper\data\my Hotmail folder, but it didn't help.

There may be something special about that message. If you could isolate that message, I would be happy to try to troubleshoot it so that the issue can be fixed. Of course, "isolating" the particular message may not be easy. I may be able to help figure out which message it is if you email me and we can collect some logs (support at esumsoft dot com). Please include a link to this forum topic in your email for reference.

Ok I can mail you later!

But right now i get this error with server type: Hotmail/Outlook: Error: Try again later. (-1030) and Pop Peeper don't get any messages at all!
POP3 and IMAP works as before!

That should be fixed with webmail v4.5.1 released earlier today. If PP hasn't updated yet for you, see this faq:
