Emails will not delete
I recently received 2 emails that refuse to be deleted. They have been deleted on my provider's server and also from my computer mail browser. There is nothing special about these 2 emails, and I receive emails from these senders on a regular basis. Only these 2, both received on the same day, refuse to die. Any suggestions?

With that out of the way, can you provide us with more details as far as the method used to delete the messages? Have you tried doing a right-click on the message in the POP Peeper inbox and selecting "Delete" from the context menu?
Please describe in more detail what occurs when you attempt to delete the two messages, i.e. are you getting any POP Peeper errors?
What type of accounts are we talking about (i.e. Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail etc)? (Help>About POP Peeper...)
What type of email protocol are these accounts using (i.e. IMAP, POP3, Webmail)? (Server type in edit account window).
What version of POP Peeper are you using?
If you go to "File" > "Error overview..." (main menu) and click on the "Copy" button and then (right-click) paste the information in your reply then you will not need to answer the last question above as this information will provide us this as well as a lot more helpful information just by pasting the copied information here in this topic.

Version: 3.8.1.0
Protocol: POP3
ISP: Cox Communication
No errors at any time
Have tried deleting:
1) in batch (after checking multiple accounts)
2) unopened message with right-click 'delete'
3) opened message using delete button
This account is one of ten, and only these 2 messages cannot be deleted. All emails in this account before and after these two have been deleted with no problems.

There isn't anything special about these two email either in size or content. No attachments. Senders using same accounts as they usually do.

In addition to the questions lakrsrool has presented, I have an additional question for you - to clarify your statement in the quote above.
If you log-in to the particular Cox account via your browser, are the 2 emails in question being shown in the "DELETED" folder there?

To add a couple comments to what's already been posted:
1) As spc3rd and lakrsrool have alluded to -- POP Peeper generally only shows you the messages that the server reports; if the server doesn't list them, POP Peeper will remove them. The exception being if you have disabled "remove messages not on server" in which case you would see a red-X in the "!' column for these messages.
2) v3.8.1 is over 6 years old. While it probably won't fix the problem, I recommend that you upgrade to the latest version (v4.5), as this will rule out those possibilities and allow us to be on the same page.

Because of the older version, there wasn't an 'error' file to send.
The emails had been deleted from the Cox server and the 'trash' was emptied, so they were nowhere to be found in the Cox acct.
Anyway, I simply deleted the account on PP, imported it again, and the residual emails disappeared. So, the problem is resolved.
I updated to the most recent version, so maybe that will prevent any future issues. Thanks for the help.
