Couple of my email accounts are now defunct with no way of logging on to them anymore but the 'data' is still there in Pop Peeper.
Is there anyway of extracting the emails from them ?
Or have I lost them?
Thanks
Ken

Extracting emails from defunct accounts

Re: Extracting emails from defunct accounts
Well, assuming you just haven't updated your signature (16 year member, nice!), you can "archive" the messages and then they're stored in standard .eml format, which can be accessed using main menu: View / Explore -> Archive. POP Peeper Pro v5 (will) allow you to then upload these messages to an imap account/folder of your choice.

Re: Extracting emails from defunct accounts
Thanks Jeff
Yes, I've been a long time user of Pop Peeper
Unfortunately , archiving the mail box entries only shows mail headers, no body. I guess I must not have actually viewed them as PP is set to retrieve headers only for that account.
Oh well, never mind. Serves me right for not actually reading my msgs
When is v5 going to be released?

Hello Ken,
Although Jeff typically doesn't give a specific date when a new version will be released, he has provided a preview of what's coming in version 5 HERE.
Cheers!
