I have installed Skin Notifier but when I get an email I don't get any notification.

Solved it.
Go to Tools - PPTweaker - Misc 2 - Allow all notifications ( in first drop down box which was on Sound Only:no popups )

Glad you found the solution.
The option you found is specifically to prevent visual notifications when there's a full-screen app running. The idea being that you don't want to be disturbed with popups when you're watching a movie or playing games, etc.

Thanks for the explanation. Do you have any idea if what I want to do in my other post (modify skin notification) is possible.
