I have a Live account which I started getting "Login Error (OAuth2) (AUTHENTICATE failed.) -- OAuth2: You may need to re-allow POP Peeper access. Press the 'Reset' link below or edit the account and re-select 'OAuth2' from the dropdown to re-authorize." ERROR
I have tried several times to re-authorize and each time I get "Authentication successful", PP still gives the Login Error.
This is happening for this on account on two computers. I can log in to the account thru microsoft with no problems.
Any suggestions?

Hotmail/Live account not authorizing
Re: Hotmail/Live account not authorizing
It's probably a temporary problem on Hotmail's end, but here's a couple of things you can try:
1) Edit the account in POP Peeper and make sure that the email address and login name are the same and correct
2) Try removing POP Peeper's permissions from your Hotmail account using the following link (make sure you log into the correct account). Doing Oauth2 again will restore these permissions.

Same here. Driving me nuts

Re: Hotmail/Live account not authorizing
Tried both. Problem still exists.
Hoping that this problem is with microsoft and they get, probably a server, fixed.

Re: Hotmail/Live account not authorizing
I tried forcing one of my Outlook accounts to re-Oauth and no problems. Sounds like ata only has 1 account with a problem (and presumably others that work?)
Some websites do suggest that there are problems:
https://downdetector.com/status/microsoft-365/
graph suggests problems (as does the headline)
https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/outlook
graph shows a spike in issues and many comments from users today reporting issues with "receive mail" and "login"
You can try using password login but keep in mind that some users have reported being required to use Oauth2 even though the deadline hasn't come yet (it may have to do with the creation date of the account; recent accounts may be required to use Oauth2).

Working here now too.
I didn't have to re-auth, it just worked.

Re: Hotmail/Live account not authorizing
For the past couple of hours previous to the past 10-15 minutes, I've had just one Outlook account (out of over 20 accounts) getting persistent Oauth2 errors that failed to resolve by re-authorizing, only to end up in just the past 10-15 minutes self-resolving (w/out my needing to do a thing).

Glad to hear it
I've said in the past that I didn't think Outlook was ready to force Oauth2. Compared to their past issues, this was fixed very quickly, so maybe that's a good sign.
