Oauth2 error messages
Re: Oauth2 error messages
All I did was uninstall, clear cookies then reinstall so it can't have been anything I did. If I'd realised backing up that folder made reinstalling so easy I'd have done it long ago haha

Re: Oauth2 error messages
Your error shows that Oauth2 is not being used. If you use a password, then you must create a new app password; further, Yahoo has reported that old app passwords may not be valid.
If your webbrowser does not open when trying to authenticate Oauth2, then you should set a different browser --
From PP's main menu: Tools / PPtweaker
"Misc 2" page
Change the "browser to launch URLs"

Re: Oauth2 error messages
When I clicked the broswer it did not work now I can get the AOL site and its working TIA!
Re: Oauth2 error messages
I have an update. The errors started again and I think it's an IP issue. I disabled my ethernet connection to my main Starlink connection and connected by WiFi to my backup 4G connection and the software works without issue. I am due to get a fibre connection (FTTP) soon so hopefully getting rid of Starlink will resolve the issue once and for all.
Re: Oauth2 error messages
Interesting. The bigger email providers surely do keep track of "dirty" IP addresses, which could have temporary effects, but you'd think that once it started working again, you'd be good for a while (longer than a day or two). Good luck with the new connection and let us know if it continues to work or not.
Re: Oauth2 error messages
Just wanted to update again to confirm that the issues I encountered must have been IP related because since I stopped using Starlink IP (a week ago) I have not experienced any issues whatsoever.
Re: Oauth2 error messages
Glad to hear it!
