Re: Gmail - setting up access to remote folders
I'm using POP Peeper Pro v5.2.2 with Plus Pack I followed the instructions for IMAP Access to Remote Folders (Spam, Trash, custom) { setup I have a vague recollection that there may be a limit to the number of logins that Gmail allows you to have at one time. It's possible that you may have to sign...

Does POP Peeper support Gmail's more secure OAuth flows?
Other than Gmail password login (requires Oauth2) (which BTW makes one ponder whether PP should be renamed to IMAP Peeper...), does PP support Making Google OAuth interactions safer by using more secure OAuth flows , which means complete blockage of (after initially only warning) any program that tr...

Re: Please make Auto-Updater modify dates
This is surprising because for me the dates seem to remain the same. I'm pretty sure I've upgraded to v5.1.1 about 2-3 days ago. I definitely did it after reading the forum, which didn't announce it before April 9th. Nevertheless, PopPeeper.exe itself is dated April 8th. Actually, none of the files ...

Please make Auto-Updater modify dates
Auto-Updater is a great feature! But it doesn't modify dates, not even that of PopPeeper.exe itself. In other words, all Last Modified dates always remain the same. It makes the whole process look nontransparent. If a file or folder is modified, its date should be modified too. Will you consider adj...

Pop Peeper was mentioned in Sandboxie's release notes
It's very rare too see Pop Peeper being mentioned in the context of another program. The program Sandboxie (formerly shareware, nowadays a free fan project) was mentioned in this forum multiple times in the past few years. But this time Pop Peeper itself was actually mentioned as part of why a new S...

Re: Feature request - edit IMAP messages
True, but you still have the SourceForge code, is it not good enough when the goal is just to borrow specific parts?Francis17 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 8:20 pm Followed stale -> updated links https://www.kassebaum.eu/2016/09/18/imapsize/ but could not find any source code. The program itself works well enough though.

If it helps, IMAPSize does this and here's its source code.

When moving IMAP messages between folders, is it done server side?
That is, does it download the message, upload it to another folder, then delete the original message - or does it use actual IMAP commands to do it right from the server?
Just curious.

Feature request - refresh folders after using IMAP upload
Now that PP can upload IMAP messages or move them between folders, how about a way to refresh the relevant folders - or possibly just recheck all mail - after it's being done. Without this, PP still shows the messages in their old locations - and doesn't show newly uploaded messages at all - until t...

Feature request - edit IMAP messages
Now that PP can upload IMAP messages or move them between folders, how about a way to just edit them directly on the server?
At the very least, edit their meta data.
Otherwise one to download them, edit offline, then upload.

Re: Please document the command line options
The Help (except #2) is how I managed to collect all these.
My point is that they're scattered in multiple places.
I suggest to have an official entry that collects them.

Running multiple instances of Pop Peeper simultaneously
Will you consider making a command line like POPPeeper.exe -multi ? Without it, PP simply ignores any attempt to rerun POPPeeper.exe even when using POPPeeper.exe -ini another-file.ini I tried to "cheat" using Sandboxie but PP blocked it. Could be super useful for testing, if one wants to ...

Please document the command line options
It seems there's no central place with all of the command line options PP supports. Neither the manual nor the FAQ has this and I also found no relevant forum thread. Here's what I managed to find: -ini - to select an alternative INI file (not specifying the {file} will open the Ini Manager so you c...

Re: Clarifying the Feature Comparison
"Move and upload messages" is what I wanted to see, thanks!
Maybe it should be called "Move and upload IMAP messages" though, no?
Likewise "Access remote IMAP folders" instead of "Access remote folders".

Now I understand the link to "Request Form" is at the bottom, I missed it. Will you consider putting it at the top too? I think it'll be more user friendly.
Jeff, if someone never installed Plus will PP still show them an update?

Clarifying the Feature Comparison
https://www.esumsoft.com/products/pop-peeper/#comparison doesn't mention various v5 features such as IMAP upload. Can you add them or at least it? Also, Auto Update and Access remote folders are marked as both Pro and Plus. How do you define Plus' Auto Update ? Is it independent of Pro's Auto Update...

Re: Plus pack can't be downloaded from the website
Thanks! I see the download button is gone now. Would you like to replace it with a link to "Product Request"?
Since I didn't get to try a non upgrade installation, how does one initiate a pack installation through the program itself?
Does it just produce a pop up on the first launch?

Plus pack can't be downloaded from the website
The download button in https://www.esumsoft.com/products/pop-peeper/plus-pack/ just redirects to the main download page.
v5 recognized I had v4's Plus pack and asked if it's okay to download a new version, so I did manage to download it through the program itself. But that's only for upgrades.

Re: Removing Windows notifcations when opening the interface
I open PP either via its Desktop Alert or by double clicking its tray icon.
In either case the count of 1 remains.
I never touched Snip's default and everything is enabled there except hide when locked.
