Server Settings

  • Open FAQ in new window Yahoo: POP3 / SMTP

    • Note: Yahoo requires an SSL connection, and you must install the SSL plugin if it's not already installed.

    Note: Yahoo has the option to include/exclude messages it has evaluated as spam in your POP3 inbox. The option is available in the "POP & Forwarding" section of the options and only if your account is using the "Basic" interface (you can switch back & forth to access the option).

    Incoming Mail Settings:
    Login Name: Full email address
    Server Type: POP3
    Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
    SSL
    Port: 995

    Send Mail Settings:
    Reply Option: SMTP
    Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
    SSL required
    Port: 465
    Server Requires Authentication: Enabled
