Chime:
This plugin repeats a wav file, command line or associated file when you receive new email. It can be set to perform the action once or every # seconds/minutes/hours until you open POP Peeper or dismiss the new email.

Sample usage: Chime can play an mp3 in your default mp3 player by selecting the mp3 file in the "Command" section. It can also repeat a sound every # minutes in case you're not always at your computer; the repeating sound will stop automatically when you activate POP Peeper.

ScreenSaver Notifier:
When the screensaver activates, this plugin shows how many new messages each account has with bouncing balls. The white ball indicates the total number of new messages for all accounts.

Note: After installing, you must go to Tools / Plugins; double-click the "Notification screensaver" item and then press "Set ScreenSaver"

If POP Peeper does not display the number of messages in the balls (ie. it's just a bunch of bouncing balls with no numbers), then perform the following steps:

  1. Open the following folder in File Explorer (or where you've installed POP Peeper):
    C:\Program Files (x86)\POP Peeper\Plugins\
  2. Right-click on the file: PP-Saver.scr and select 'Install'
  3. Go back to POP Peeper's main menu: Tools / Plugins and double-click on "Notification screensaver" and press "Set ScreenSaver"

SSL:
The SSL Plugin allows POP3, IMAP and SMTP accounts to send and receive encrypted data instead of as plaintext. The server must also support SSL or TLS. This plugin is not necessary for Webmail services which will use SSL automatically if supported by the webmail service.

Installation instructions (click to show)
  1. Download and open the zip file using the download link provided
  2. Exit POP Peeper
  3. Copy the 2 files (libcrypto-1_1.dll and libssl-1_1.dll) into the POP Peeper installation folder (typically, C:\Program Files\POP Peeper\)
  4. Restart POP Peeper
  5. In the main menu of POP Peeper, select Tools / Plugins and make sure that "SSL" is checkmarked
  6. For each POP3 or Imap account that you want to enable SSL:
    1. Edit the account (right-click the account in the Accounts List, select edit)
    2. Select "SSL" or "TLS" (to the right of "Server Type")
    3. Ensure the "port" is correct (for SSL connections, this is typically 995 for POP3 and 993 for Imap; for TLS, 110 for POP3 and 143 for Imap)
    4. For SMTP servers, go to the "Send Mail" tab and set to "SSL" (port 465) or "TLS" (port 25 or 587)
    5. Press "Update"

The Plus Pack may only be downloaded by licensed users. Pro and Plus Pack licensees may use Auto-Update — in POP Peeper, go to
main menu: Tools / Activation, enable “check for missing and updated components”, then press Close
