Common Errors

  • Open FAQ in new window I get an internet error 12157 or 12029 when I try to activate POP Peeper (Pro, Plus Pack, WebMail) or other situations.
  • Both these errors can have a similar reason, usually because the system's SSL libraries are not enabled correctly. Here's how to fix this:

    1. In the Windows start menu, type and open Internet Options
    2. Select the Advanced tab
    3. Scroll the list to the bottom and make sure the following is enabled:
      • TLS 1.2
    4. Press OK
    5. Activate POP Peeper

    If this doesn't resolve the issue, check that any security related software (e.g. 3rd party firewall) is not blocking POP Peeper's internet access.
